The cruise trips are a blast, featuring groups of around 16 maximum on a two hour excursion. Complimentary beer, wine, or water is included. La Barge Tropical Cruises

La Barge specializes in prompt and affordable trips for the family. Each journey is about two hours long and all ages are allowed. The boat departs around 5 p.m. and returns just after 7 p.m. depending on the season from 2 Marina Plaza in Sarasota. Reservations are highly recommended but not required. Be sure to arrive on time as tours are tight. You have to see that sunset, after all!

Fun Boat Tours is a family-friendly option, with a focus on wildlife and fast cruising. After sunset, the crew takes karaoke requests. It is $50 per adult and $25 for children 10 and under. Tours depart from the Siesta Key Marina at 1265 Old Stickney Point Rd about an hour before sunset.
